Roaring 20's Party is over.

So the Roaring 20's party that my sister in law planned is done.
It all went well.
Murder, food, music and costumes.
We were, however, short on guests.
Many did not show up. :(
They missed a great time.
My sister in law, brother and I spent alot of time preparing for this big event.
Lots and lots of decorating, murder mystery planning, cleaning and food to make.
I will be posting pictures very soon (that is if my daughter sends me them!).
Before we began decorating my sister in law had big plans to do a theme party, possibly going up one decade, each year.
However, by the time we were 3/4ths done decorating for this party she said "no more parties" :( I think she'll change her mind once a bit of time passes, don't you think??
It WAS fun!
Well...sit tight, hang on, pictures and details coming.

Lisa - I was just at Kmart today and they have a metallic (silver, gold, grey, black) selection of tree decorations. They have ornaments that are either tuxedos or gold dresses that look like flapper dressses. I'm just sayin'

I did splurge on some oraments (glittery and shiny) in a workspace, or studio theme. And, I bought the garland that went in that line - it had spools of thread and buttons. I want to do a studio tree by my crafting studio. (or what I'd like to be my studio, it is a corner of our bedroom!)

They also have the most adorable school days selection - little school unform ornaments, little metal lunchbox ornaments. I think I may zip over the day after Christmas. I don't need 'em but they're so adorable!

hello! I ran across your blog from another that I follow. I was wondering if you could give me any info on how you got started. I too, think I have the knack for this and would like to get a business going here where I am. Any info you can give me would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
