from moving my daughter!
I was away for a few days helping my daughter move from one city to another.
It all went well, but it is SO much work!!
I feel like this little penguin!
But I might have been acting like the bear a few times!! he he.
We lined up some great help and really couldn't have done it without them.

I really love this idea and have been thinking about for the big wedding coming up.

Tiny Wedding Cakes

My niece wants cupcakes for her wedding.
But maybe, she'd like these instead!!
The site I found them on says
"the idea of mini-tiered cakelets is utterly seductive!"
Well then....better start baking, huh!!
They certainly are elegant (which is the look she is going for!)....but are they TOO much work? My daughter says we could just pour a glaze over them and sprinkle some glitter on top.
So...any ideas?

Ok, so not really, but here's the deal.
I did a google image search for diy chandeliers and as I'm going through the pages I look at a picture that seems to be MY blog header!!!

garland of the paper kind

So I found this at Project Wedding and although it is similar to the garland I posted earlier this week, it's different! :) This one is done up in with a vintage library feel to it.
You could make a mobile out of it, hang it as a backdrop, or swag it from a ceiling.
AND,
imagine it done up in other colors and styles of paper.
The options/creations are endless!

Mobile/Chandelier/Party Decor

This cute mobile would certainly work for use as a chandelier or any party decor. Can you see it hanging over the gift table or buffet for a baby shower?
Or maybe use a bunch of bold colors for a teen girls party.
And guess what I see??? Strings of these circles hung in a window or as a backdrop for just about any party!
A mobile doesn't have to be a mobile. :)

Finally!

Good news! I have a new computer! :) Yay! Actually it's been here for awhile but it is just now all hooked up and working. Still thinking I should have gotten a laptop though. Guess I didn't think of it till this was already ordered....oh well.

And this is what she did with her garland.....now you might not have a storefront window to put it in, but hey,
